The Brief- Task 1

Research and write up case studies on several brands using the Brand

New blog resource. Include the following brand examples:

1. 1 Uses the colour personality you are considering.
2. 2 Is aimed specifically at your target user.
3. 3 Is a direct competitor or in the financial sector.
4. 4 Shares your brand values / mission.
5. 5 Is primarily screen based.
6. 6 Uses a tone of voice that you admire.

Minimum one for each. Choose examples you think demonstrate

excellence in design. No word count, just write what is effective about them, ie. how do they achieve what they set out to do?

The Brief- Task 2

I’d like you to have a practice run at a brand guideline document.

Choose any brand you like and compile brand guidelines for it, sourcing information and imagery as needed. This will be easier to do with existing designed elements and it should demonstrate what assets you need in order to create your own. You might also find Brand New helpful with this.
