What is Branding?

Branding is about making a memorable connection with your audience. It shouldn’t be overly complicated, nor should it be visually unappealing. The key to a good brand is balancing functionality and style without compromising on one for the other.

Conducting Research

Research is the core of branding. Before you start on any of the visual design aspects of a project, you need to familiarise yourself not only with your audience but also with your competition. Knowing who you’re designing for as well as knowing who you’re competing with will give you the best possible basis for your product.

Questions to ask when conducting research for a brand:
